Welcome to Loice Exclusive Events. These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of our website and any services or rentals we provide. By using this site or booking our services, you agree to these Terms.

2. Services We Provide
We offer, among other things:
- Wedding planning and coordination services
- Event styling, set-up and breakdown
- Event rentals for hire (furniture, décor and related items)
The specific services, inclusions and pricing for your event will be outlined in a separate proposal/contract. If there is any conflict between these Terms and your signed contract, your contract will generally control for that project.
3. Bookings, Proposals & Contracts
- Enquiries
- Submitting an enquiry or requesting a quote does not guarantee availability or secure your date.
- Proposals
- We may provide a written proposal outlining services, rentals, estimated pricing and payment schedule. Proposals are usually valid only for a limited time (e.g. 7–14 days) and may change if not accepted within that period.
- Booking Your Date
- Your date is only confirmed once:
- You have signed our service agreement/contract, and
- The required retainer/non-refundable booking fee has been received.

- Changes After Booking
- Changes to date, venue, guest count or services may affect pricing and availability. We will update your contract where possible, but changes are not guaranteed until confirmed in writing.
4. Pricing, Payments & Refunds
- Pricing
- Prices are stated in U.S. dollars (USD) unless otherwise noted.
- Pricing may change over time; once your contract is signed, agreed prices apply to that booking unless you significantly change the scope.
- Retainers & Payment Schedule
- A non-refundable retainer/booking fee is required to secure your date.
- Remaining payments are usually split into instalments with specific due dates outlined in your contract.
- Late Payments
- Late payments may result in:
- Late fees (if stated in your contract)
- Suspension of work until payment is received
- Cancellation of services if payments remain overdue
- Late payments may result in:
- Refunds
- Retainers and some payments are typically non-refundable due to time reserved, preparation work and turning away other bookings.
- Any refund terms will be described in your individual contract. Where your contract is silent, decisions on refunds are at our discretion and subject to applicable law.
5. Cancellations & Postponements
- Client Cancellation
- If you cancel your event or our services, fees already paid may be non-refundable.
- Any remaining unpaid amounts due under the contract up to the cancellation date may still be payable, depending on the timing and work completed.
- Date Changes / Postponements
- We will do our best to accommodate date changes, but cannot guarantee availability.
- If we are available on the new date, we may charge a rescheduling or administrative fee.
- If we are not available, changing the date may be treated as a cancellation under your contract.
- Cancellation by Loice Exclusive Events
- In rare circumstances (illness, emergency, or events beyond our control), we may need to cancel.
- We will:
- Make reasonable efforts to find a suitable replacement service provider, or
- Refund fees you have paid to us for services not yet performed, as described in your contract.
6. Event Rentals Terms
These terms apply to any rental items (furniture, décor, backdrops, stands, etc.).
- Rental Ownership
- All rented items remain the property of Loice Exclusive Events at all times.
- Rental Period
- The rental period and collection time will be agreed in advance. Keeping items beyond the agreed period without consent may incur additional charges.
- Care & Responsibility
- You are responsible for taking reasonable care of rental items from delivery until collection.
- You agree to ensure guests, vendors and venue staff treat items with appropriate care.
- Damage, Loss or Theft
- You may be charged repair or replacement costs for:
- Lost items
- Damaged or heavily stained items beyond normal wear
- Items not returned
- Charges will reflect our reasonable cost to repair or replace items and may be deducted from any security deposit or charged separately.

- Setup & Breakdown
- Unless otherwise agreed, our team will handle set-up and breakdown of rented items. If you set up items yourself, you must follow any instructions we provide to avoid damage or safety issues.
- Venue Requirements
- You are responsible for ensuring your venue allows the use of our rental items and that access, loading and timing comply with venue rules. Additional fees may apply for difficult access or extended waiting times.
7. Client Responsibilities
To help us deliver your event smoothly, you agree to:
- Provide accurate information about your event, guest count, venue and requirements
- Respond to communication and approvals within reasonable timeframes
- Obtain any necessary permissions or permits for the event
- Ensure your venue has adequate space, power and safety features for the planned setup
- Inform us of any special risks or limitations (e.g. strict venue rules, outdoor-only conditions, weather backup plans)
If you do not fulfil these responsibilities, it may limit what we can safely deliver and may affect the final result.
8. Force Majeure (Events Beyond Our Control)
We are not responsible for delays or inability to perform our obligations due to events beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to:
- Severe weather, natural disasters
- Government restrictions or public health emergencies
- Power outages, transport disruptions
- Venue closure or restrictions outside our control
- Strikes or acts of third parties
If such events occur, we will work with you to make reasonable adjustments (e.g. rescheduling, alternative setup), but some aspects of service may not be possible. Any related terms and fees will be outlined in your contract.
9. Website Use
By using our website, you agree to:
- Use the site only for lawful purposes
- Not attempt to gain unauthorized access to the site or its data
- Not copy, scrape or reuse content or images without permission
We may update or remove content from the website at any time without notice.
10. Intellectual Property
All text, images, designs, logos, graphics and other content on this website (unless credited otherwise) are owned by or licensed to Loice Exclusive Events.

- If you provide a review or testimonial, you grant us permission to use it (with your first name and/or event description) on our website, social media or marketing materials, unless you request otherwise.
- Photos
- We may request permission to share professional photographs from your event that feature our work (decor, rentals, styling).
- Where we use such images, we aim to credit photographers where possible.
If you prefer that your event photos not be used publicly, please let us know in writing.
12. Limitation of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law:
- We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages arising from your use of our website or services.
- Our total liability for any claim related to our services is limited to the total amount you have paid to us for the specific booking or contract in question.
Nothing in these Terms is intended to exclude or limit liability where such exclusion or limitation would be unlawful (for example, in cases of fraud or intentional misconduct).
13. Indemnity
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Loice Exclusive Events, its owner and team members from any claims, damages, losses or expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of:
- Your breach of these Terms or your contract
- Damage to rental items due to misuse or negligence
- Actions of your guests, vendors or venue that directly impact our property or staff
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the State of North Carolina, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from or related to these Terms, your use of the website or our services will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the state and federal courts located in North Carolina.
15. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top of this page. Material changes may also be highlighted on the website.
Your continued use of the website or our services after changes are posted will mean you accept the updated Terms.
